Inside ORGE: How We Build Carbon Frames, Wheelsets and Components

From product development to final inspection, every ORGE carbon product is made in-house at our facility in Huizhou, China. If you are sourcing a carbon bicycle manufacturer — or just curious how a frameset comes to life — here is how we work.

Company Background

ORGE was founded in 2012, focusing on carbon frameset design and production. In 2016 we launched our global sales team and website, and in 2019 we invested in a dedicated carbon rim factory. Today our brand trademark is registered across the European Union, and our products ship to cycling brands and riders worldwide.

Materials That Start the Right Way

We build with Toray T700, T800 and T1100 carbon fiber prepreg, selected per model according to the stiffness, weight and budget targets of each project. Carbon prepreg is stored and cut under controlled conditions, because consistent material handling is the foundation of a consistent frame.

Engineering and Mold Design

Our engineering team — many with 20+ years in the carbon bicycle industry — develops product geometry, layup strategy and mold design for every project. For brands with their own designs, we provide OEM and ODM services: custom geometry, layup, paint, decals and packaging. We also offer exclusive mold services with dedicated molds and strict confidentiality for your brand.

Molding and Curing

We use 3D latex mandrel technology for tube molding. Smoother inner walls and consistent wall thickness mean no internal wrinkles — a detail that directly affects strength and ride quality. Frames cure under controlled temperature and pressure schedules, model by model.

Testing Beyond the Standard

Every frameset and wheelset project is tested in accordance with ISO 4210. On top of the standard, we run additional testing at roughly 20% increased severity on selected load cases, so we know how much margin a design really has — not just that it passes.

Capacity and Delivery

Our current production capacity is around 2,000 framesets and 1,200 wheelsets per month, with QC inspection at every stage from raw material to final packing. Stocked items ship worldwide from China within 3 business days, with tracking.
